This picture is beautiful but it makes me sad.
I've seen some pictures comparing the Aral Sea then and now and it's such a sad story of human negligence. I'll keep myself posted with your Aminus3 photoblog to see more photos from this place. Kudos!

You know, they digged a canal to provide the main city of Turmenistan from lots and lots of water, so the Aral lake was? Great picture of a very shameful happening.
